Protein Powder

Protein Powder

I am sure that you have noticed that I use Nuzest Clean Lean protein powder in a lot of my recipes.  There is a reason for this.  I am a label reader.  I care about what goes into my food, because it goes into my body.  I care about what goes into my body because as a follower of Jesus, my body is a dwelling of the Holy Spirit.  Since my body is not my own, I better take good care of the loan!   (I Corinthians 6:19-20).

I want clean ingredients without additives, chemicals, or sugar.  Really, the fewer the ingredients the better. Since I am a vegan, I also want a high quality protein source.  So, with those high standards, I went on the search.  Nuzest Clean Lean protein powder fit the mark on all of my standards.  Besides that, it also tastes super good.  Because it is a pea protein base, it thickens well lending to flexibility in the kitchen.

You could most likely substitute any pea based protein powder in the recipes found on this blog.  Your mileage might vary, however, in terms of taste and texture as there is quite a variety of pea protein options on the market.  If you are interested in finding out more about Nuzest, visit their website at http://www.nuzest-usa.com.  They often have giveaways and even offer discounts through Amazon’s subscription program.  For a discount on their site, you can use the code: marci15 (I declined financial kickback for any purchase…just want you guys to love the stuff like I do).

The Nuzest company has been great to work with.  They have used some of my recipes on their website and even sent me some of their product to work with in the kitchen.  I’m thinking of future recipes, such as cheese crackers and sandwich thins…and maybe even peppermint patties.  Stay tuned!  I am sure that there will be more drool worthy recipes on the site soon!

Blessings and hugs,
Marci
